Situation:

A major OEM needed to purchase some of their own product from the gray market at some point in the life cycle.

Problem:

The OEM did not have the resources to invest in qualifying the product as good.

Streamlined Solution:

Since the open-market companies wanted to sell the product to this OEM, the OEM directed them to send the product to STS. We received the product, ensured the cosmetic and functional state, as well as the acceptable level of the product. This process included sorting, and managing the scrap from the lot’s as well.
